Who is this Helena?
Helena Levison is the Founder of UX Unite and to many she is known as the Queen of UX due to her relentless dedication to raise the industry standard of UX in Denmark.
Helena came up with the event format UX Meet & Greet when she was about to graduate from Kolding Design School and wanted a better understanding of the job market. She was shocked that there was no information to gather about companies anywhere and how they work with UX, besides their own communication. Let us be real here, companies own self-image is often very different than the reality. It was back then and is still rare that a company would even write about themselves from a UX perspective. So she set out to open doors, create transparency on what UX professionals actually do and provide the community with insights so that people can make qualified career decisions.
Over the years she has attended, organized, and facilitated 400+ events in the UX space, but the focus on the hiring process has always had a special place in her heart. UX professionals comes in a vast variety of shapes and sizes, her podcast Why UX? is a love testament to this. One thing every UX professional has in common is that being a job seeker SUCKS. Research on this has been heartbreaking with people being very negatively affected by the rough realities of the hiring process.
Through UX Unite she has launched the only UX focused job board in Denmark, she has been part of creating a thorough job market report to provide the community with real insights about the hiring history based on activities on the job board and the salary survey hundreds of UX professionals have filled out.
She is currently working on more digital initiatives to support job seekers and help them forward to land their dream job.

In a perfect world you would pay right after the session, but at the moment you will need to pay upfront.

Book a session in Helena’s calendar
Once you have paid for the session you will be directed to Helena’s calendar where you can book in a session slot that suits your schedule. If you can’t find a good session slot, just email Helena to find an alternative date and time.

Meet up on the day and kick ass
The session will be online, so you just need to show up. First thing is to create an agenda for the day so we know what subjects we need to hit. Come prepared or not, she will move you.

Decide what piece of material you want feedback on
The most common things are CV, Cover letter, a specific portfolio project and/or your LinkedIn profile.
Note that you should attach the job post your material is tailored to.

Buy a feedback
As a part of the payment process you will provide a link to the material you want feedback on. If you have a PDF, upload it to eg. Google Drive and when you share it, you will get a link you can use. Add a link to the job post your material is targeted towards.

You will receive a voice recording in your inbox
Helena will email you a voice recording where she goes through your material.
